So at first, my intention was to exchange the recalled Note 7 for the iPhone 6s Plus. However when I went to a local T-Mobile Store, it came to my surprise when the sales rep told me they have 1 iPhone 7 left in Rose Gold 32GB. So of course I chose to get it instead of the 6s Plus. Anyways, I plan on upgrading via JOD to the 6s Plus, but after using it for about a week I noticed some small things and I'm wondering if anyone also notices these small things:
1. When placed on a flat surface, the home button doesn't really give the strong feedback you told it too give (3) , I suspect it is because of the flat surface
2. If you open an app for the first time and go back to the home screen, there's a very slight stutter during the animation; oddly enough, this only happens when you open an app for the first time, after opening it again and going back to the home screen a second time, the animation is smooth.
3. Things like brightness and the new "wide-color gamut display" aren't necessarily noticeable until you hold last year's iPhone and this iPhone next to each other
Also, just my opinion; after toying with the camera a bit and after using the camera built in the Note 7/S7 Edge, I reached to a conclusion; If you're a point and shoot kind of user and just want the similar quality you see in most photography than the S7 Edge/Note 7 is for you. If you want to put your photography skills in use and like to edit than I believe the iPhone 7 (Plus) is the best to go with, due to the more natural colors, it gives the user more editing capabilities without making the picture look like crap in the process.
And for those wondering what made me switch to the 6S Plus; I simply cannot put up with a smaller screen, and the iPhone 7 Plus won't be widely available until maybe December? (Maybe sooner for other colors but this is my expectation for the Jet Black)
