IPhone 7 front camera wide angle???

Can anyone with a 7 or 7 plus confirm if the front camera takes the same field of view as the 6s? That would be really pretty disappointing for group shots and backgrounds.

The S7 and HTC 10 currently takes a very wide angle front camera to fit people and background.

Does anyone have any feedback on this? Unlike OP, I hope the lens is not wide angled. The wide angled lens on the S7 made the selfie-taker look like a pin-headed fish. Okay, you can get more people in the photo, but then you just look like a group of pin-headed fish.

The stated focal length of the ip6s is 29mm equivalent. The ip7 is 28mm equivalent.

Distortion can be fixed post processing, but not wide enough means you don't get the picture at all... for example of a monument or park or statue or whatever.

I take selfies on vacation for the people and the sights, not for perfect geometrical accuracy.
