So I don’t use my 7 much at all other then checking an email or two when I’m away from my desk the battery will last 4-5 days usually.

Today when it died finally I charged it and I noticed it got really warm, is this normal behavior when you don’t charge the phone for a few days? Or what is going on?

Any answers will help!

P.S. was only using the dock for a PC no PC plugged in so no syncing...

Do not remember my 7 getting warm from charging, but then I never ran it to dead.

I would not do that and charger at least every other day or even better, every night while you are sleeping.

I have an X now and it is slightly warm, just barely, but I think that is just from the induction. I can see the 7 getting a bit warm especially if you are suing a ipad charger on it but it should not get hot. You need to compare it to past charges and this one sounds different.

It does first time I used the usb 3.0 port on my dock checked amperage and it came in at 1800 ma
