My iPhone 7 has the voice memo app. My apple watch Sport (1st gen) with watchOS 4.3.2 doesn't have the voice memos app. How do I install the voice memo app onto the watch?

I can't remember when voice memo became available on the watch, I doubt it is available for a watch as old as yours.

Possibly. Unfortunately, I don't know of one because I never use voice recording apps. Hopefully someone else can help.
I did manage to confirm that the official voice memo app was introduced in watchOS 6, and not compatible with your watch.

so i hope it's just a matter of finding a non-official app.
What is the apple way of finding apps that work on the watch? I ask because when i use the app store on my phone, i don't think it filters for apps that can be used on the watch?
