When I plug in headphones to my iPhone 7, the music controls don't show up on the lock screen. I thought this was an iOS 10 issue at first, but my 6 shows the controls as normal. So I guess this is something to do with the Lightning port. I tried with both the included earbuds and analog headphones with the adapter, and neither one triggers the music controls.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or have a solution?

Have you tried swipe up, then swipe left?

I'm not talking about the Control Center. I'm talking about the music controls that appear on the lock screen when you plug in headphones, which debuted as a Proactive feature in iOS 9.
