Isnt it a little crazy how we had these mockups in early june of basically what the black versions look like. Glad they killed off the space grey for true black phones. The blue is nice but matte black is basically what the concept turned into.

I think the blue in the pics would have been better than jet black... I would have got that instead of matte black.

Yeah, turned out to be spot on fugly.

I had hoped it would turn out differently.

Oh well, there's always next year.

They turned out to look no worse than previous models. Definitely no better, either. The black iPhones look actually quite good because the black color disguises so much of the fug in person. Lol, that being said, I think I'll get a silver one and stick the worst of it behind a case. If I end up getting one at all.

I have to disagree.

That camera boil on the back of the 7 is at least twice the size (if not more) than the one on the 6s. And the lozenge bump on the back of the 7+ reminds me of the robot in Futurama.

In any case, while I hate the bump on the 6 series it's actually less offensive to me than the camera boils on the iPhone 7/7+.

And while I'm glad Apple is offering black again, as I have mentioned before here in another thread, this is one time that black does not cover a multitude of sins.

This is just my opinion, but I REALLY do not like the look of this new iPhone. My 6s is fugly already. I'm not going to double down on it.

Lol, I do tend to refer to the new models as "Cyclops" and "Bender" (the Futurama robot". I don't like their looks either, but with the black colors my eyes do tend to skim over the camera warts. At least under the store lighting.

No, no denying they're all rather less than they could be, aesthetically. They've made some mind boggling choices in their quest for thinness.

From here on out I think all the "rumors" and mock ups will be almost spot on. There are people out there who's only job is to find out what the new tech gadgetry will be like.

Well then I'm hoping the edge to edge 5.8" screen, virtual home button and ceramic body are all true!
