How good does the otter box protect the iPhone 7 camera ?

I keep the phone in my desk with the otter box on and sometimes I slide the phone on the desk to my friends sitting on the other side of the desk so they can see some photos I show them on my phone.

Does the otter box protect the camera very well ?
 
My wife drops her phone a lot and our toddler doesn't make it any easier. Seems like it does a great job on her iPhone 6

Unless the desk is made of diamond, then you can purposely try to scratch it over and over and it will not scratch.

It's sapphire, a 9 out of 10 on mohs hardness scale
