iPhone 7 Plus Bluetooth 5 second lag

just got a new iPhone 7 plus
32gb version

Major Bluetooth lag in my 2016 Silverado with my link. No issues with my iPhone 6s Plus

I tried forgetting device
And also hit reset network setting

Still has a bad 5 second audio delay

Any suggestions

Be sure you have the latest IOS version (10.1.1). There were many problems with earlier versions and many threads about Bluetooth audio issues. Might want to do a search.
