I'm actually on my second 7 Plus. My first one had battery issues. It would only register that it was "charging" with the cable it came with. Not even my wife's 7 Plus cable worked for it. Also, overnight it would only charge 60-70 percentage points. I set up a Genius Bar appointment and they ran some diagnostic tests. The result was rather surprising. The test said the battery was fine, but that the bluetooth was malfunctioning, and the phone had self-rebooted eight times in the week that I had the phone. Oddly enough I hadn't noticed any bluetooth issues because I constantly listen to my Beats Studio Wireless via bluetooth and had never had a problem. Also, I had never seen the phone reboot itself and TouchID always worked (i.e. I didn't have to enter passcode to re-enable TouchID). The Genius was able to recreate the charging issue in-store, so he replaced my phone.
This brings me to my new 7 Plus. No charging issues whatsoever, but I have noticed that I've had to re-enable TouchID several times while unlocking my phone. I am on 10.1 Beta, so perhaps that's it. Has anyone else had this issue?
