iPhone 7 plus restoring issue

started restoring my new iPhone 7 plus data from my old iPhone 6 via iCloud. iCloud says it is still restoring and I am connected to wifi but photos have stopped restoring and there hasn't been any more photos restored for a couple of days. I have got plenty of iCloud storage. What can I do to restore the rest of these photos
