Hello folks, So I just upgraded from an iPhone 6 to 7 plus, My iPhone 6 made a very faint clicking sound when finger print sensor was touched (Not pressed just touching it made that noise) there are numerous threads regarding this on the internet, so after getting my 7 plus (A1661 32GB Matt black running iOS 10.0.2 oldest firmware i know lol ) ... i tried testing if this weird noise is still there, it turns out not only is the noise still there its kinda worse than my i6. In order to hear this you have to be somewhere DEAD silent, shove the speaker grill of the phone up your ear and just touch the ring on the touch id (you don't have to press it) you will hear a very faint static noise as soon as you lift the finger. Now I don't know if this is the same touch id sound from iphone 6 or maybe a defective unit? Its not too much of an issue because the noise is very faint, I can't normally hear it just concerned if its a grounding issue or something it will consume more battery, I can hear the noise even if the screen is turned off, Can you guys please try this with your phone and confirm if yours does this?
