When I try to use the Touch ID to unlock while it's charging, the home "button" gets really hot if I leave my finger there too long, but the phone does not really do anything. I have only used my phone for a few days and it just started today. I have looked up on this issue and people say that it seems to be a grounding issue. Never had this happen in my 2 years of owning a 6 Plus with a case, even though it seems to be a complaint since the 5S. If I take off my case, it works fine. This is strange because it was working perfectly fine for the first couple days I used my phone with the case on. Just after one night this started happening. It's actually really inconvenient to type in the passcode when it's charging. Is this issue worth bringing in to the Apple Store for a replacement?

Conclusion: It seems like this only happens when it is charging through my desktop or laptop. Works fine charging through my portable charger and car. I guess the grounding is more important on the 7 compared to my 6.
