Got the iPhone 7 plus the day it released. It does take great photos outside but inside my photos are grainy. I'm a bit disappointed. Could I be doing something wrong?

One thing worth trying is when you're taking the shot, tap and hold the screen on your focus point (or if there isn't one i.e. you're taking a photo of landscape etc just tap anywhere) and then move your finger up or down to adjust the brightness. There's a technical word for this, forgot what it is.
That will help to some degree.
