Last time I got an iPhone (iP6) we were able to track the shipment progress of our iPhones while they were still in China. This was done by searching either FedEx or UPS's website using the Track by Reference tool. Enter your phone number associated with your Apple ID (mine is my home number not my cell).
Let us know when you get your info and where in the world it is.

Tracking pages:
UPS
https://www.ups.com/WebTracking/reference?loc=en_US
FedEx
https://www.fedex.com/apps/fedextrack/?action=altref&cntry_code=us&freight=yes

Extra Info:
Apple will automatically add your phone with it's serial number in your support profile. You can see it here:
https://supportprofile.apple.com/

You can look up the week of manufacture and factory here: Klantenservice: Serienummers or
SNDeepInfo - All information on the phone's IMEI or serial number

This is actually the 3rd time someone has posted about the UPS reference trick. I don't mind.

Mine says:

Scheduled Delivery:
Friday, 09/16/2016, By End of Day
Last Location:
Arrived - ZhengZhou, China, Sunday, 09/11/2016

Does anyone know what the reference is for ATT shipments through FedEx?
