Thinking of getting a refurbished Iphone 7 to replace my SE.

Anyone has done that and satisfied with it? Any reason not to get a 7 at the moment or get a refurbished Iphone?

If you get the refurbished from Apple then it'll be pretty much new.

Apple has several iPhone 7 and 7+ units in their on line refurbished store. I would not consider buying a refurbished iPhone from anywhere else.

It depends where you’re purchasing your refurbished iPhone 7 from. If it’s directly through Apple, it will have a new casing, battery and display with a one year warranty.

Is a 7 still worth getting in terms that it would be outdated soon? Can you get 5 years of updates out fo it?

Technically, the iPhone 7 is already “outdated”. But in terms of iOS updates, I would say it has approximately three years remaining, being it was released with iOS 10.
