1) Now that I've seen both the Matte Black and Jet Black in person, I actually prefer the Matte Black and am glad that's what I ended up with. Also, the Matte Black is several shades darker in person than it is in photos and videos, for some reason. At least to me.
2) After using a 6+ for two years, I'm glad to be back to the smaller phone. I will miss the big screen in some cases, but overall the 4.7 seems to work better for me.
3) I was concerned about the "solid state" home button after hearing the keynote and reading subsequent negative reviews. It was weird the first time I "pressed" it but now that I've had the phone for a few hours, I vastly prefer it compared to the physical button. The haptic feedback has a GREAT feel and Apple absolutely nailed it.
4) I know the camera on the 7 Plus is the one getting all the love (and for good reason), but the camera on the 4.7 is absolutely superb. If you have any concern about the camera, DON'T. Selfie camera looks nearly as good as the rear camera on my 6+. Too bad I don't really take selfies.
5) Holy speed.
Just my two cents!
