What are my chances of going to an Apple Store on Friday and picking one up without pre ordering ?,
Is it also true that Apple retail stores get stock of the phones every day ?

I got told no by Apple they won't have any stock in for people who queue

I was in Apple Buchanan Street yesterday and was told there'll be no chance of getting a 7+ 'on spec' in store on the day and very little chance of a 7 .... very disappointing to have to wait :-(

Apple got rid of the queuing at stores things last year with the launch of the apple watch, said it wasn't particularly safe and was more convenient for people to order online
