I want to know if others are having similar issues with the iPhone 7's video.
When wanting to edit video taken with my iPhone 7, the program (PowerDirector 8) crashes as soon as I select the file for opening into the editing library. It's a recognized format, so that's not the issue.
The program DOES NOT crash with just any video file...seemingly just from files created by the iPhone 7. The error log (when one is created) flags ntdll.dll as the problem, but all steps (short of a full re-install of Windows 7...which IS NOT an option) doesn't seem to solve the problem.
Is there a special codec that needs to be installed so the iPhone 7's video fully works with Windows (beyond mere playback)? Anyone else have a similar issue?
