Hello there,

currently i own an iPhone SE with 64GB. I love that phone but the Display is just too small. So i thought about switching to iPhone 7 or 8 (X just too expensive and the +-Versions are too large for me).

So my thoughts are:

- iPhone 7 A10 should be good enough for next years (2-3 should be enough), right? I hope and think it will work just as smooth as the iPhone 8 für texting, looking Videos and Surfing (never gaming on phones anyways)

- Problem is that i Need 64GB at least. 32 is not enough. 64GB fits perfectly. If i buy the iPhone 7 with 128GB the Price is nearly as high as the iPhone 8 with 64GB

-Is True Tone so worth?

-Battery, Camera and the Display (excluding True Tone) are the same on both phones

-

Any ideas/experiences/thoughts that may help?

I undestand that People won´t upgrade from 7 to 8 because the benefits won´t be enough but from SE i have a complete other point of view.

Thanks in advance and greetings

Looking at the prices the 128GB 7 is £50 cheaper than the 64GB 8.
If you base that on storage alone then the 7 wins hands down.
Further, from what I read your uses will be; the 7 is more than enough to meet your requirements.
It still has an excellent camera, it still can perform exceptionally well and as for true tone, yes it's nice but is it a necessity, I don't think so in your case.
Save yourself £50 with double the storage and get the 7.
