Hi everyone,
for some weeks i've been experiencing a very weak haptic feedback (when i turn on/of switchs, when i scroll the timer, when i press an icone in the home page etc.) compared to what it used to be.

In addition, I remember i could feel the feedback approx where i pressed or did the action, now it's like i can feel it only in the lower part of the phone (where the engine actually is placed) and not have the same sensation...

it "works"... but in a poor way.

I tried turning it off, doing a soft reset... but nothing worked.

Does ayone experienced this issue? i hope it's only a software issue that can be solved with the next iOS realease (iOS 11 at this point) as i start to think that all could have started after last update (although i'm not sure...)

anyone has an idea? apple stores are quite far.. it's the last option.

thank you!

Are other vibrations like mute switch, receiving a phone call or alarm also softer/quieter? Have you tried changing the sensitivity settings?

thank you for your reply.

other vibrations seem fine; i tried to change 3D touch pressure setting and home button feedback setting (this setting works), but nothing changed.

i can't find anything related to haptic feedback intensity (except for home button)... but only the possibility to turn it on/off.

Okay, so since the other vibrations are fine it would seem like the hardware is working correctly.

I've never heard of or never had this problem, but it could be a software issue. If nobody has any other ideas, you should contact Apple. You can also wait for iOS 11, your call.

thank you again. i think that in case nobody else has this problem nor knows how to solve it, i will wait fot the next iOS hoping it will fix it... there's only few days left...

How about the default ringtone vibration?
Cz the default ringtone vibration has a combination
Maybe the taptic engine in your iPhone is starting to worn out but yes just take it to Apple store and ask them what went wrong with it and see if they can help.

weak as well... i called apple, they said to try to reset all settings. nothing changed... they said it is not an hardware issue (monitored by remote during the phone call)...

i just installed iOS 11 but the problem is still here... i think i’ll call them back in the next days..
