Translation: A list of the most popular products with the highest-margin products speckled in to make it seem like they are good gift ideas as well.

Don't people realize this is combination of whatever is popular and paid-for placements? Or do people actually think getting someone a "Rand McNally OverDryve Connected Car System" is a good gift idea?

These are all fairly expensive presents. To top it off I would only really want (don't need at all) the done or the 4k TV. The list seems about them selling that what something that would actually make sense as a present.

There is nothing that screams Christmas (the gift of giving and sharing one's love and treasure with another) more than a Rand McNally OverDryve Connected Car System. I have no idea why you would question this. /s

I clicked the link and none of these products have links to buy them. Seems like Best Buy would want people to check the prices, specs, availability on some of these things.

I searched on that page in the search bar for "Sony 65” Class LED Smart 4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range"
and it took me to https://corporate.bestbuy.com/?s=Sony+65”+Class+LED+Smart+4K+Ultra+HD+TV+with+High+Dynamic+Range

very helpful.

searching bestbuy.com revealed 79 results:

which of these 79 results is Best Buy saying is must-have? All 79 of them?

... according to the manufacturers who paid or compensated BestBuy some other way to publish said list. (Not being snarky or cynical. This is how retail works.)

Great. I'm going to get each of my friends each of those suggestions. Wait maybe just one item. Wait. That's a ridiculous list.

Why would you be checking on pricing of the Holiday Gift List on Oct. 23rd? At least wait until Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Now if you were looking for pricing to add something to your Halloween "candy"basket then that's okay.;)

It might be ridiculous to you. But believe it or not, those listed items will be purchased one way or the other by consumers for gifts.
