If the iPhone 6s or iPhone 7, next year, comes with only 1GB, basically no hardware changes, would you upgrade? I think I would, cause apple can make magic with hardware.

Apple goes in a Tick-Tock cycle of upgrades. There won't be an iPhone 7 next year... simply an iPhone 6s or whatever letter they want to put after the 6.

Also, why would there be no hardware changes? You really think they won't at least improve the processor, camera, battery, etc?

For Christ sake. Let this one be announced and come out first.

Does everyone need to create a thread about the first thing that pops into their head.

I think a 6s will have upgrades to features that will be introduced with the 6. Mostly with the new payment system, that has bugs written all over it.

Why would they release the same phone with a different branding? This thread doesn't make any sense.

what I want to know is "where do we go from here"?

I figured the iPhone 6 would be like the 5S with a newer body, better hardware, etc. and the 6S having the NFC feature.

If the 6 has NFC, what could the 6S have that would make you want to buy it?

Dayum. Let us enjoy THIS one before you start lamenting the lack of memory on the NEXT one. #SMH

If it has no hardware changes, is it an upgrade?

Upgraded camera, higher resolution screen, faster CPU/GPU. The usual.

And wireless charging ;)

good point. wireless charging could be the killer feature of the 6S that I can see happening. It looks like they are testing out the wireless waters with the iWatch wireless charging feature.

Jeez, the iPhone 6 is minutes away from being announced and you start a thread about the iPhone 7?

Let's hear about the iPhone 6 first

Nope. Only upgrading to the 6 for the larger screen. Don't really need much improvements over the iPhone 6 except maybe larger battery which may never come with apple

I'm hoping for spec boost bump for 4, 4.7 and 5.5 models next year
