iPhone 8/8 Plus Back Glass...Durability?

This is less about the worry of it breaking - we all know glass breaks when dropped - and more about how prone to scratching it is.

To those that have had their 8/8 Plus for a few days, how is the back holding up? The display models I've seen have all had fairly severe scratching on the back glass, which has me a bit worried about it and considering a 7 series instead, as I'll be upgrading from an SE.

Any info would be appreciated!

This does make me leery of using a clear back case . I would love to use that so curious also.

Watch the scratch test that was done. Rated at a 6. The toughest parts to hold up was the camera glass. I think that was rated at like 9

Why not a wrap? You could get a clear one so you can still see your phone.

I have a scratch on the front, right above the speaker grill. Looks like a piece of sand or something similar got stuck and pressed into it. The front is the same glass as the back, so I would say it’s going to scratch eventually.
