Hi all, My carrier subsidized phone contract expires about May of next year and I find myself already thinking about what my next Iphone will be. I really like the touch ID and home button concept and I also kind of like the idea of wireless charging, so the Iphone 8 seems to make sense for me. One concern I have is, how reliable has the haptic feedback Home buttons been on the Iphones 7 and 8? About the same as or maybe more trouble free than the old traditional home button the Iphone used in the past? Just kind of curious what your opinion is. Thanks for any feedback.

I’d say they are definitely more reliable than the old mechanical home buttons since it doesn’t physically move. It’s functionally identical to the old mechanical button, but it may take a little bit of time to get used to, especially double clicking. Overall, I think it was a good move by Apple.
