Hi
i bought an iPhone 8 plus about a month ago.
I have iOs 11.03 installed and all my apps are up to date. I usually play Pokemon Go, check facebook, use WhatsApp, take pictures, read the news, emails etc. At first I noticed that while playing Pokemon Go the game lags and gets slow, like if the game would work in slow motion or slow like in android phones.
My boyfriend has an iphone 7 plus and do not have this problem at all. He also has installed iOS 11.03
So i thought maybe is a problem from the processor and graphics and i was thinking to take it to service but today my boyfriend said he is having since yesterday the same issue, so i was sure it was a game problem. Today i was checking my email and answering a conversation in whatsapp and these apps started to do same as in pokemon go then i noticed the whole phone start to act like that and was hot as hell. So now I am in a dilemma if it is a hardware problem, an iOS problem or apps problem. is there anyone else experience this with iPhone 8?
i posted this in apple communities but i didn’t get any answer.
Greetings from Finland

That's hard to say. If you really want to eliminate software as a potential issue, then delete any apps that seem problematic or better yet, delete everything on your phone and start over (backup your data first of course). Then just start with the standard apps for a day or so and see if it does the same thing. Then add offending apps one at a time until the problem returns (or not).

Of course, given that it is a brand new phone, I would just stop by the Apple Store if that is convenient and let them run some diagnostics. If it's a hardware problem (some issues are known but not widely publicized), they will replace the phone. Make sure you backup your data first.
