iPhone 8/Plus Iphone 8 plus home button

I was searching on google to find some settings info for my new iphone 8 plus and came across what seems like a lot of threads about home buttons cracking on there own. Is this a widespread problem or not? If it is common can or has anything been done to fix it? Thanks

I’ve never heard of that happening either. I’d say don’t drop a phone that is mostly glass, it will break..
