Iphone 8 Plus OIS

Hello,

Currently the owner of an iphone 8 plus.

I want to be able to use a gimbal (stabilizer) but I hear that the OIS doesn't play nice with the stabilizer hardware.

From what I understand.... on the 8 plus its only the wide angle that has OIS.

So.... can I use a clip on wide angle lens (aftermarket) over the stock telephoto lens to get a wide angle shot that doesn't have the gimbal and OIS interfering with one another?
