iPhone 8/Plus iPhone 8 vs 8+: Battery Life and Camera

Question for iPhone 8 users - how is your battery life, and how do you like the camera quality? I have an 8+ but am considering downsizing to an 8 (while increasing storage). I use Portrait a decent amount, but I don't know if it is a dealbreaker - I'm more concerned about general camera performance and battery life.

I have an 8 and the battery life to me is great, I can easily go 2 days on a single charge, sometimes 2 and a half. I am not big into photo's but the camera works good enough for what I do, maybe someone who is more into photography can better answer that question.

I went from a 6S Plus to a smaller model. After having a 5S/SE size and then going directly to the Plus size, having the in between size of the 8 to me is a perfect fit. Don't get me wrong, the Plus size is a great device, I just needed something a little smaller and I have no regrets.
