iphone 8 wireless charging at 100% then screen goes on and off continuously

I have tried to charge my new iphone 8 on both samsung wireless chargers EP-PG950 i have and although the iphone charges well to 100% then from that point on the screen of the phone goes on and off every few minutes with an annoying beep.
i tried changing the cables (usb to usb-c) and the charger wish are always samsung original fast chargers EP-TA300 and as i said before i have 2 samsung chargers but nothing.. i get the same on and off screen result when fully charged.
when i had my galaxy s8 i did not have this problem.
please help!

My 8 Plus is on the wireless inductive charging pad and it's fully charged. Seems to be fine for me. Screen doesn't turn on and off nor does it beep.

Have you tried a different one?

I had that happen to me on my old 6S+ when plugged into a portable battery charger (or power bank or whatever). I just unplugged it from the power bank and it went away. Never had it happen when havin the phone plugged into a computer or wall though. In other words, using 3rd party power plug-ins could be the reason.

My 8+ on the Belkin charger from Apple acts just like plugging it in. One beep at the beginning and. Nothing but a charged device in the morning.

You will find several other threads with their 8 and 8+ doing the same as yours. I believe it is the wireless charger not being compatible.

maybe but is an official samsung qi compatible fast wireless charger and i have two of them.. tried them both.
which ones work for you?

I'm currently using the Anker Brand and works perfectly fine. Must be the Samsung Qi charger.
