This may have been mentioned during the keynote and I just missed it, but what wireless chargers will be compatible with the new iPhones? Will any charger on the Qi standard work or will it be limited to Made for iPhone approved wireless chargers?

It's an open standard, so any Qi charger should work. Maybe the ones Apple specifically touted support the faster (7.5W) charging while most others don't?

What I am wondering is if this means your phone has to be naked for it to work, or can it charge through a case?

It should support any Qi charger and with most cases. I'm sure there are some cases that will block it but should work. Apples own charger supports multiple devices and possibly faster charging also.

I have used Qi before and it is rather slow but convenient. Have a Qi stand that maybe will work with the new phones and a speaker with built in Qi charger.

Apples entry in the market with Qi will probably make more restaurants and public areas roll out chargers in tables and so on.

Also from a security standpoint I am happy for this. Firmware in usb chargers can hide a rootkit that keeps infecting devices and other chargers. Since many public places, planes and hotels now have usb plugs this has become more of a risk.
