iphone 8GB upgrade to 16GB

My question is , Does any one know if a 8gb com board is compatable with 16gb logic board and vice versa. also is the 16gb com board compable with 8gb lcd prox. sensor and other parts required?

its all the same , its virtual memory. I take these things apart for living.
