I am visually impaired and have an IPhone SE. I would like to set up payment methods on my phone but cannot find a way of doing this without having to set a passcode. Whilst I understand the need for security, and would happily set up fingerprint access I cannot see anyway of putting this in place without also setting a passcode. The problem with a passcode is that the IPhone does not speak the digits as they are typed and so it is impossible for me to be able to enter it. The effect would be that whenever the phone locked and required a passcode I would be locked out of it without getting someone else's help to enter the code.

is there any way of setting the IPhone to only require a fingerprint? This does seem a entirely reasonable adjustment in terms of being able to keep my phone secure and being able to use it for payments like anyone else.

I pretty sure you need to set a passcode to setup TouchID... You probably could contact Apple support or go to an Apple store (if open for appointments)..
