Last night my iphone was activated (after 2 days of activation hell...i was on my dads family plan which was originally the blue plan). Now, this morning I noticed my iphone said "no service" in the upper left hand corner. All day I've had no service. I went down to the AT&T store to see what was going on this time..(another problem, great!)..and they gave me a new Sim card. My phone still has my music, photos and stuff on it. It looked like everything was great...but..When I got home, I docked the iphone and it brought me back to the original activation screen. So has anyone else had this same problem? I don't see why I have to reactivate my iphone. It doesn't say "NO SERVICE" anymore but I don't have any service. I can still use my iphone except for the phone part. If anyone has had similiar issues, Please help me out!

Did you check you are on the coverage area with atleast 2-3 bars to work inside a building?

I am having the same problem. Everything was working correctly earlier today, but then it said no service. I was out, and thought i must be in a dead spot, but was the same when I got home (where earlier I had a very strong signal and my other phones have a very strong signal).

AT&T says everything is fine on their end -- they tell me I need to contact Apple.

same here. My iphone sometimes got no signal and showed 'no service'. I am definitely in the AT&T work area since my wife's phone is also with AT&T and she got full bar signal.

really strange and annoying. Some bugs?

btw, I am an existing ATT customer and this iphone is updated from my old line. I am not sure does it matter?
