iPhone Activation asking for iPhone Number

I've just got access to activate my phone on iTunes. I put my Apple ID in, and it has come up with a screen pre-populated with my registered name, address etc. However, there is a field called 'iPhone Number'. I don't know what my iPhone number will be yet. Can I just leave this blank? Sorry if this seems silly, I just don't want to screw anything up.

The phone number should have been retrieved from the SIM card.
