I let me iphone air battery run out. Later, it would not turn on. Not even connect through DFU mode on apple configurator. Vol up/down, hold power didn't do anything. I was about to send it in and the apple chat rep said to wirelessly charge it. Then it powered on. I replugged the usb cord, and it started charging!
How weird. I basically had a brick and it went back to life by wireless charging.
