I have the 16 Pro and I find it too heavy (7.03 ounces or 199 grams) for my pocket, especially when I wear shorts. Holding and using the 16 Pro is fine, especially since it's narrow. The 17 is 6.24 ounces or 177 grams. An ounce is a noticeable weight difference, but what about 0.75 ounces?
The Air is only 5.82 ounces or 165 grams, that would definitely be a noticeable weight difference (about 1.25 ounces). But it's wider, thus not as easy to use one-handed and with increased width. I also wonder how pocketable it is with shorts, since the pockets in shorts are not as deep and Air is taller than the 16 Pro, 6.15 inches (156.2 mm) versus 5.89 inches (149.6 mm).
I have a day to decide before pre-order on Friday and can't decide what to get. Help! Only one camera, no mmWave, mono speaker, battery life only the same as 16 Pro, and $200 more are all okay with me, but taken all together could add up to be a big disappointment.
