I knew there were shortcomings with the Air but here are a few I’ve had in the day I’ve had it so far.

The USB-C port and tethered CarPlay audio is horrendously bad. I’m surprised this has yet to be brought up.

Also, where I live LTE is really all that is showing up where 5G is available on all my other devices. I’m guessing it is a battery saving feature combined with the new Apple modem.

The single camera is hard. I like the telephoto lens and use it some. So it is a draw back having the one camera lens.

With that said, I absolutely love the device weight. It is night and day different. It is definitely a glimpse into what the future of computing should be.

I’ve got to make a decision on which I’ll keep the Pro Max or the Air. And I am not sure which I’ll pick. The cellular and bad CarPlay (usb connection) might be deal breakers for me. But I’m not sure I want to give up the form factor of the Air.

I’m not sure why CarPlay audio would be any different than any other iPhone. I’ve been using it and haven’t noticed any change in audio quality.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Apple CarPlay. Using mine plugged in since Friday and it’s been perfect. Suggest you have a fault.

Car Play both wireless and wired works perfect with my Air and EV car.

5G is very good and stronger reception (more bars) compared to the 16 Pro I traded in.

Wifi 7 works well and the apps are super snappy!

Best part of the work day is not having the 16 Pro drag my pants down...

So far loving the new Air - goodbye 16 Pro......

I will do a restart to see if it persists.

WiFi has been fine it’s the 5G that has been weak.
