I upgraded to iOS 7 last night (iPhone 4 GSM). I am unable to turn off or delete any previous alarms that I had on my phone. As a test, I added an alarm last night. This morning it is greyed out and I can't turn it on or off, and cannot delete it from the list.

Is this a bug due to iOS7 being beta, or do I have to downgrade to iOS6, delete my alarms and then put iOS7 back on my phone?

NB- this is about the absolute limit of my technical knowledge, so any tips should be in laymans terms!! :)

Thank you!

Did you upgrade/restore from backup? This can always create all kind of random issues. Could be a problem from iOS 7 itself or a problem from not setting up as new. In any event, it's likely because of the beta. I'd try a good ol' restart and try to delete all of your alarms.

Also, Siri can now delete alarms. Try that as well.

I swear, nobody from apple will admit this, but I've done test alarms and woke up late for work all because my alarm didn't go off. I'll go to check my phone and it will be grayed out but I know for a fact that I never touched it.. Apple needs to take a look at this before I get myself fired.

There is another thread of people with this issue, including myself.

Just as an update, it happened again today

I also can't afford to oversleep any more. I'll be buying a cheap alarm clock to keep on my nightstand. I need something reliable and right now, iOS 7 Clock Alarm is not.
