Iphone album playback

I dont know if this has been since the 2.0.1 update, however, i have a 1st gen iphone running 2.0.1 and when i try to play a full album, it shuffles the songs, even if i dont actually hit the shuffle button....am i missing something silly here...or is something up?

I've got the same issue with the iPhone 3G.

Nope, no random shuffling here.

No random shuffling, but I can't play my albums in track order if I want to listen to ALL my albums by the same artist in a row.

Artist:
--->Album 1
--->Album 2
--->Album 3

There's no way to do it (aside from creating a playlist,) and this is a departure from previous Ipod functionality.

Sucks.
