iPhone and Apple Camera Connector

Goodmorning,

Is it possible to get the Apple Camera Connector to work with iPhone?

I found some old posts (2007) in other forums that show how the connector was not working with iPhone and iPod touch.

Is there a software solution to solve that problem? or maybe there is similar stuff that works?

It was pretty useful during travels , i needed only my iPod and my camera....

No, it does not work and no, it's not a software issue.

The Camera Connector had limited compatibility when it came out in 2005, but it has zero compatibility with the file system on the iPhone/iPod Touch.
