Hi all,

My Dad got a new Apple Watch. He also has the same iPhone from a few years ago. He likes how the Apple Stocks are organized on his Watch. The iPhone is mess, he has hundreds upon hundreds of stocks tickers there, never bothered to delete any. He probably had no clue how to do it. And the problem on iPhone is that the Stocks app is so sluggish, almost unusable. That's AFTER I already did the troubleshooting like deleted and then re-downloaded Apple Stocks to his phone, also turned off (restarted) the iPhone.

My question: with iCloud synching.... which app (assuming the data are different, and they apparently have not been synched recently) WHICH DEVICE takes priority? If I synch the two devices again, will the Stock app garbage data on iPhone take priority? Or will the Apple Watch take override priority?

Again, he loves his apps setup on the new Apple Watch. Only has a handful of stock tickers that he cares about. On the iPhone, its the same hundreds of stock tickers that he ADDED over the years (Yahoo Finance probably told him to ADD every single stock ticker in existence, which is why the Stocks app is a goddam mess, sluggish and impossible to re-arrange).

I wanted to just NUKE the iPhone Stock app and all its data, wiping out everything. So will it also erase/nuke everything on his Apple Watch Stocks app once iCloud synching is done again?

Thanks for any response/solutions!
P.S. --- I never owned or ever wanted to wear an Apple Watch, so I'm not very familiar with the Apple Watch myself
