He folks. call me stupid, but i am completely new to the world of bluetooth technology. I understand how it works with certain devices and such, but i have never used it myself because I have no need. I like actually talking into my phone. I feel weird talking into nothingness.
Anyways, this is not the case with my husband. He is a truck driver and for many reason, one being its illegal to NOT use a hands free device, he would like to use the iPhone's bluetooth capabilities.
Here are my few questions:
Does it have voice dialing? If not, is there some upgrade or hardward that would use voice dialing.
He has a Garmin GPS, its the Street Pilot c330 which doesnt have bluetooth, but i have the Nuvii which DOES have it. If he integrated the iphone with the GPS, what would the end result be? Would it basically just show all his contacts and numbers on the screen like with the iphone? Or does it do something more?
Finally, do you think there would ever be a way to speak your texts? Like voice recognizion for text or IM? That would be AWESOME for handsfree stuff.
