Hi there
New user here looking for some advice.
I'm looking to upgrade my ageing phone, but can't decide between iPhone 7 (not the plus version) and the Galaxy S7. I'm not a brand loyalist, so I'm only interested in what suits me best. I am aware Samsung has the S8 up its sleeve and soon to be revealed, but I'm not interested in curved screens. Apple's reveal for the iPhone 7's successor is too far away and I'm too impatient to wait.
I have my monitor calibrated to sRGB because I'm into photography (I use a mirrorless camera system) and try for accurate colours. I'm increasingly using my phone to take pictures and it's enough in good light for capturing memories.
Is there an option in iOS that will allow me to change from Wide Color to sRGB, or does it all happen automatically? Are there any photography apps that anyone knows of that would allow me this sort of control if Apple doesn't? I really don't want to use Wide Colour due to the problems it would cause with consistency.
I guess I could convert colour spaces myself, but that would be too time consuming for the amount of photos I take. Anyone offer any other solutions?
Thanks.
