I just updated to 3.0gm yesterday. One thing I just noticed is that in my contact files it now has my friends facebooks pictures in there info. Is this something that is normal or just a glitch?

What?

Your iPhone contacts application is showing your Facebook pictures?

Ehhhhhh..

Weird?

If its suppose to do that it's a really good idea, because I don't know anyone who actually puts photos of people on the phone. But if it did it automatically that would be cool!!

yes very strange. I have the FB app and have always had it with 2.2, but now with 3.0 it shows all new pictures under the contacts. It has even replaced some contacts that I had set up before with pictures.

Any one else seen this?

The Palm Pre is supposed to do this once the Facebook app gets released for it. Maybe its the new thing that Facebook is trying to do for the iphone too. Its a great idea. Your contacts automatically sync with facebook and it brings down the persons profile picture if the names match. Please tell me this is true.

That does not happen with me, there are apps in the app store that sync that stuff, are you sure you didnt do that?

i still have 2.2.1 and noticed that my contacts had synced pics with Facebook...but i have everything so interconnected that i cant tell when and where it happened??

Ever sync the address book of your computer to facebook? I did awhile back, and the same thing happened.
