I exchanged a iphone 4 at ATT store. I told them I don't have anything on the old iphone 4 and would like to activate the new one at home by myself but they can't. they opened the box and plug in usb cable and activated it. I don't remember them put in any sim card.

do all new retail iphones come with sim card inside?
how do I check sim card for manufacture/release date?

when I got home, I checked recent calls and found two numbers: one is the number the store rep dialed to test, and the second one is 707-941-19xx (North Bay Area) and was called at exactly the same time the first number was dialed. what is this call/number?

I saw he made only one test call to his own phone. just wondering if this is a true new phone, not used.

does new iphone come with a sim inside?
