Does anybody have a webcam that they can view remotely with their iPhone?

If so what brand and do you recommend it?

I seen a nice review on logitech but it didn't support the phone.

I searched here and only got one hit from an anti iPhone ranter.

My house has been vandalized 3 times and I would like a way to view when I'm not here. By the way, it's not just me, neighbors too.

Thanks in advance---Bob

The built-in iSight on Macs works if you use Telekenisis/iPhone Remote. It's a program you install on your Mac and then access the URL from your iPhone via Safari.

also Remote Buddy works.

i was also wondering if anyone knows the opposite. watch iphone camera from computer?

I should have mentioned --- I have a PC at home but was going to connect it straight to a link sys router hooked by cable modem to the net. Its a password enabled connectiontion at least to wireless devices, maybe that doesn't apply to direct wire.

I have been aroundcomputers since the punch cards of the 70s but networking is a very weak subject for me.

I poke and prey sometimes.

You're going to have to wait until June, when the official SDK launches.
Until then, there aren't really any solutions for you.

Yes, obviously the Iphone doesnt do video so never mind live video feeds from your Iphone.
I know you can check out survailance thru the iphone though.
I have a friend that logs in and checks out whats going on at his store when he's not around. So I know its possible but not sure what setup he uses.

I use a couple of older D-Link webcams. They are the DCS-900W. No moving video over the iPhone but great for still shots.

I posted this in another thread but thought I would place it here as well in case the OP subscribes to this thread.

I just purchased the following Panasonic camera to replace my D-Link. It streams motion video to the iPhone on EDGE or 3G. Does great in low light conditions. Very easy to setup. Highly recommended.

That looks like a cool product. It should accomplish what the OP wants. :)
