I know this has been discussed many, many times. After untold hours of trying to fit this problem, I'm at my wits end to resolve it. Trying to contact Apple is useless and I've been to the Apple store three times with no help to resolve my problem.

Here's my problem. I cannot connect to any secured wifi, including my own. The message is "unable to join network". I can connect to any unsecured network with no problem. I also do not have available on my iPhone the option on secured wifi connections to change between HEX and ASCII key input.

I've tried all the suggestions... don't use WEP use WPA; use 128 bit; use 64 bit; resetting network - all setting; use a $ in from of the key; turn on Airplane mode and reset. I've even delete all content and settings with no luck. I've checked for software update both on iPhone and my router.

It used to work just fine, but this problem seems to have started after upgrading the iPhone software.

As I've said, I've research the problem (which seems to be very common in several different forms) and have tried all the many suggestions previously posted. I've only had the phone since October 2008, and so far am very dissatisfied with Apple support or actually lack of support and the difficulty in getting support.

Please, please, if anyone has any new suggestions to resolve this secure wifi connection problem please let me know.

If my frustration shows in my posting, I apologize.
