iPhone + Apple Watch for improved god accuracy?

Any GPS experts out there know if it possible to get improved GPS accuracy by taking the readings from 2 devices and averaging them or you some other software post processing trick?

I wonder if Appple would allow a third party app to take advantage of this (if it's even possible).

With access to the GPX or TCX files it can be done and there is software that will do this. However Apple doesn't offer any way to export or access this info.
