iphone apps appearing on my ipad

Yesterday I downloaded 2 apps on my iphone. When I turned my ipad on today, I noticed both of the apps I downloaded on my iphone, are now on my ipad. I really don't want them on the ipad. Why are they on there? I did not connect either device to itunes. I also do not have wireless sync setup in my itunes on my windows machine.

Nope, this can happen even if you don't have an iCloud account. It's entirely done with your iTunes account, which could be the same info as an iCloud account, but it doesn't have to be.
