iPhone 3G 3.01
iTunes 8

I had bought all my apps under my aol username and password. Recently Apple had forced me to create a new apple account. Now I can no longer update any of my apps from my iphone because it defaults to my aol username. How do I transfer all my apps to my newly created apple username? Also how do I remove the default user account on the iphone? Thank you for your help!

What was your resolution? I'm having this issue with 5 apps...all the others were purchased under an iTunes password and are fine.

This works

I found this solution from another user --> plug in your iPhone to your computer, press UPDATE ALL, then you can update your iPhone apps by using your AOL password (not your iTunes password) with the AOL Username that your phone now (when not plugged in) says is an INVALID ID/Username. It just won't work when you unplug the iPhone and try to do it while not connected.
